Disney World shows are wonderful. They are entertaining and they give you a chance to sit down and rest your weary feet for a bit. Plus, because many of them are indoors, you can cool off in the air conditioning during the show. But, sometimes boys are just not that into them. To change that, here are the 8 best Disney World shows for boys.

#1 Festival of the Lion King–Animal Kingdom
First up on my list of the best Disney World shows for boys is Festival of the Lion King at Animal Kingdom. This is the best show anywhere on property because it has something for everyone!
Boys will love it because it has fire, guys on stilts, and tumble monkeys. Plus, they encourage you to make animal noises during the show. What boy doesn’t like making animal noises?!?! It really is the perfect show!
Definitely add this one to your list of must-do’s at Animal Kingdom.

#2 Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor–Magic Kingdom
If the boys in your life love corny jokes, then you will want to take them to see the Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor show at the Magic Kingdom. It is basically a 10-minute comedy club show performed by some of Monstropolis’ comedians with Mike Wozowski serving as MC.
This interactive show is just good, clean fun! Kids (and dads) will love submitting their own jokes that may get used in the show. Your boys will be laughing from start to finish in this one!
It is my son’s favorite show at Disney World. He usually wants to see it multiple times during our trip.

#3 Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular–Hollywood Studios
Regardless of whether your boys know who Indiana Jones is, they will thoroughly enjoy the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular at Hollywood Studios.
As you might guess from the name, this show focuses on some of the stunts from the Indiana Jones movies. It gives you a behind-the-scenes look at how they pull them off. And, of course, like any good show geared to boys, it has some fire elements.
While this one will especially appeal to the older boys in your family, it will also hold the attention of your younger boys as well.

#4 Lightning McQueen Racing Academy–Hollywood Studios
The next show on my list of the best Disney World shows for boys is Lightning McQueen Racing Academy. This show gives the audience a chance to learn racing tips from the great Lightning McQueen himself.
Other beloved Cars characters also make an appearance in the show. Plus, there is a cool video game style racing simulation in the show that older boys can appreciate.
This is a must see show for any racing or Cars fan.
#5 Turtle Talk with Crush–Epcot
Another funny show that highlights the magic of Disney is Turtle Talk with Crush. You can find this show at Epcot in the Seas pavilion.
Basically, this show involves kids having a conversation with Crush, the sea turtle from Finding Nemo and Finding Dory. Crush takes the opportunity to learn about the human world, and your kids can get the chance to ask Crush questions about the turtle world.
While this show is geared mainly towards the 10 and under age group, it is hilarious for people of all ages because you never know what kids will say! And because it is interactive, every show is different.
Turtle Talk has special reserved seating for kids front and center on the floor, while adults can sit on benches behind them.

#6 Finding Nemo, the Musical–Animal Kingdom
Even though it may not sound like it, Finding Nemo, the Musical is one of the best Disney World shows for boys.
My husband, son, and nephew all grumbled the first time I suggested we go watch this show. But, they ended up loving it.
While there is singing and dancing, this Animal Kingdom show is performed by live actors with puppets, which appeals to boys. There is a larger-than-life Mr. Ray and Nigel in the show that are both impressive.
Additionally, the action spills out into the crowd, which provides an unexpected surprise that boys can appreciate.
#7 MuppetVision 3D–Hollywood Studios
The next show on my list is MuppetVision 3D in Hollywood Studios. Who doesn’t love the Muppets?!?! Even though kids may not know who the Muppets are, they will love this show. It is full of corny jokes, 3D gags, and even includes an explosion or two. So, your boys should love it!
Plus, this show is in a theater with air conditioning and very comfy seats, so it is an excellent place for a break on a hot afternoon. And don’t forget to check out the funny gags and jokes that are located all throughout the preshow space.

#8 Mickey’s Philharmagic–Magic Kingdom
Last, but not least, on my list of the best Disney World shows for boys is Mickey’s Philharmagic at the Magic Kingdom. This 3D show can be found in Fantasyland near the Prince Charming’s Regal Carousel.
In this show, Donald Duck decides to try out Mickey’s magical conductor’s baton, which takes him on an adventure through some of the classic Disney movies. Your boys will love the 3D elements of this show and will laugh at all of Donald’s mishaps.
This is another theater show that gives you a nice, cool break during the day.
Conclusion
Watching the shows at Disney World can enhance your fun and provide your family with a much needed break while in the parks. This list of the best Disney World shows for boys will win over all your boys. Add them to your list of things to do on your next trip!
