Are you planning a trip to Chattanooga, Tennessee with your kids? Then you will need a list of great restaurants that your kids will love as much as you do. Luckily, Chattanooga is a great food city for families. Here are the 8 best kid-friendly places to eat in Chattanooga!

#1: Maple Street Biscuit Company
The absolute best place to eat breakfast in Chattanooga is the Maple Street Biscuit Company! This is the perfect place to start the day with your kids because it has a laid-back, casual vibe and delicious food! The dishes are modern twists on classic recipes.
While biscuits are the stars of the show here, they do have other things on their menu. These include waffles, omelets, hashbrowns, and grits bowls. Look at the menu for more!
There is something here for everyone in the family. Your kids will love it as much as you do! And the environment will encourage you to relax as you hang out with your kids because it feels more like being in grandma’s kitchen than a restaurant.

#2: Mellow Mushroom
Pizza is always a hit with kids. Mellow Mushroom is one of the best pizza joints anywhere in America! This pizza chain can usually be found near college campuses, but it is as awesome for families as it is for college students.
Mellow Mushroom is one of my son’s favorite restaurants of all time. He insists that we eat here anytime we are near one.
Every location looks a little different, but they all have a similar funky vibe to them. This is a place where your kids can be a little loud and no one will even notice!
They have classic pizzas in addition to some creative flavors, so it won’t be hard to find the perfect pizza for your family! And be sure to try their soft pretzels! They are so good! See all their flavor combinations on their menu.

#3: Puckett’s Grocery
If you are craving southern comfort food, then head to Puckett’s Grocery. It is one of the best kid-friendly places to eat in Chattanooga. And it is right next door to the Tennessee Aquarium, which is super convenient!
While Puckett’s started life as a grocery store, they soon evolved into a full stand-alone restaurant.
The highlight of their menu is “a meat and three,” which is a Tennessee staple. Their meats include fried chicken, fried catfish, chicken n’ dumplings, and pork chops. For side dishes, you can choose mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, fried okra, and other southern classics.
They also have barbeque, sandwiches, salads, meatloaf, and shrimp and grits. They also serve breakfast and have a dedicated kids menu.
Check out their menu for all the delicious choices!
#4: Burger Republic
Do you have some burger lovers in your family? Then Burger Republic is the perfect Chattanooga restaurant for you!
While Burger Republic has some classic burgers that your kids will love, they also have some bolder flavors that you will enjoy. These include a Jack Daniels’ honey glaze, jalapenos, smoked gouda, and bleu cheese.
They also have chicken, salads, and beer. So, there’s something on the menu for everyone in the family!
Burger Republic is conveniently located across the street from the aquarium, so it’s a great choice for lunch before or after visiting the aquarium.

#5: Frothy Monkey
Another breakfast place on my list of the best kid-friendly places to eat in Chattanooga is Frothy Monkey. It is located inside of the Choo Choo Hotel.
The interior is a nice mix of industrial elements and historic building details. The cafe/coffee shop is large and wide open with high ceilings.
The menu includes a variety of coffees and teas, along with pastries, bagels, and breakfast sandwiches. They also serve omelets, French toast, oats, and sausage and hash.
While this restaurant will appeal more to adults than kids, you can easily find something here to please even the pickiest eaters!

#6: Big River Grille & Brewing Works
If you prefer breweries over coffee shops, then these next two places on my list of the best kid-friendly places to eat in Chattanooga are for you.
The Big River Grille and Brewing Works is a classic brewery with a full menu perfect for dinner. They offer traditional pub grub, such as wings, pizza, burgers, and nachos. They also have steaks, seafood, salads, shrimp and grits, and more! The mac and cheese is delicious!
This brewery is located right in the heart of downtown Chattanooga. It is the perfect place to meet up with friends or hang out with your family in the evening.

#7: Tailgate Brewery
Another brewery in Chattanooga that is perfect for families is Tailgate Brewery. This joint not only features a full range of over 30 craft beers on tap, but also a complete food menu of pub grub. They even have a dedicated kids’ menu that is sure to please your little ones!
Choose from pizza, sandwiches, loaded fries, salads, wings, and much more!
The only thing that I don’t like about Tailgate Brewery is that is is pretty small without a ton of seating. This is great unless you get there too late to grab a table!

#8: Clumpies
Of course, the best part of taking your kids out to eat is getting dessert at the end. So, I had to include Clumpie’s on my list of the best kid-friendly places to eat in Chattanooga! This is the BEST ice cream I’ve ever had!
There are several Clumpies locations across the city. And we tried several of them during our time in Chattanooga!
They have a ton of seasonal flavors that are so delicious! Check out the menu for a peek.
There is a reason that every location has a line out the door! And it is so worth the wait! Your kids will be loving you for stopping here!
