Are you planning a trip to Phoenix, Arizona? Looking for delicious restaurants that your whole family will enjoy? Well, you’re in luck! Phoenix is full of amazing family-friendly restaurants. Here are 7 of the best places to eat with kids in Phoenix.
My family has eaten at all of these locations during our trips to Phoenix. And they will all be on our list of places to return to on our next trip.

Breakfast
If your family loves breakfast, then you will love Phoenix! There are so many amazing breakfast places throughout the city. Our favorite breakfast restaurants are:
Matt’s Big Breakfast
Matt’s Big Breakfast is one of the best places to eat with kids in Phoenix because they serve delicious, straight-forward breakfast dishes in large portions at reasonable prices. You can easily split dishes and still have enough to fill you up.
Plus, the vibe here is relaxed and comfortable, like your favorite pair of jeans. So, you don’t have to worry about your kids getting loud or not being on their best behavior in here. The atmosphere is really laid-back.
Matt’s Big Breakfast was featured on an episode of Diners, Drive-in’s, and Dives on the Food Network channel. So, you know it’s delicious if Guy Fieri loves it.
You will find Matt’s in downtown Phoenix. Check out the full menu here.

Snooze, an AM Eatery
Snooze, an AM Eatery, has a more modern, trendy vibe than Matt’s, but it is just as yummy. Their menu is full of fun, unique twists on old favorites that will get your family excited about eating breakfast.
The interior of the restaurant is as bright and fun as the menu. It feels fresh and retro all at the same time.
My favorite thing on their menu is the funky monkey French toast, which includes banana bread, caramel, and candied pecans. They also offer a pancake flight with different flavors of pancakes that your kids will love.

Butters Cafe
The last breakfast restaurant on our list of the best places to eat with kids in Phoenix is Butters Cafe. While there’s nothing special about the decor at Butters, they more than make up for it with their menu. They have a wide variety of things to choose from, so you are sure to find something for everyone in the family.
You will find omelettes, scrambles, several varieties of waffles, crepes, and pancakes. They also offer lighter options if you aren’t that hungry.
And for the kids, you will find French toast sticks, eggs, and several flavors of mini pancakes.
The crepes are definitely a highlight, but the scrambles are amazing too. Take a look at the menu for more details.

Lunch & Dinner
For lunch and dinner, Phoenix has lots of places that will appeal to you and your kids.
Snakes & Lattes
If your family loves games, then you must eat at Snakes and Lattes during your next trip to Phoenix. This entire restaurant is themed around board games. They have a whole library of card games and board games along one wall.
For a small fee, you can play all the games you want while you eat. This is such a fun way to enjoy lunch or dinner with your kids! It’s also a great way to bond as a family. Play all your favorite games and try out some new ones.
We had a blast during our lunch at Snakes & Lattes! My son loved being able to play games at the table while we ate. He wanted to stay for hours.
Snakes & Lattes is located in Tempe, next to the Arizona State University campus. You can check out their menu here.

O.H.S.O. Brewery
A kid-friendly restaurant doesn’t have to be just for the kids. The best ones are made to be comfortable and welcoming to kids and adults. And O.H.S.O. Brewery hits the mark perfectly.
So, if you are like us, and love breweries, this is a perfect place to go, with or without your kids.
This bicycle-inspired brewery has an industrial feel and is a great place to hang out with friends and family. In addition to a large bar, booths, and long communal tables inside, they also have a large patio with shade that is perfect for enjoying the Arizona weather.
The menu has many pub grub favorites, like burgers and sandwiches, but there are other fabulous choices, including chicken and waffles, mac and cheese, salmon, and short ribs. Check out the menu here.
Everything we ate here was amazing. But, the highlight was the caramel apple pie. It was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten in my life!

Goldie’s Sports Cafe
The next restaurant on our list of the best places to eat with kids in Phoenix is perfect for sports fans. Goldie’s Sports Cafe is exactly what you would expect from a sports bar: tons of sports memorabilia, lots of televisions, and yummy comfort food.
If your family is wanting to watch a game during your vacation, this is the place to do it. I really like that the tables are spaced out a bit and you have some room to move around.
Unlike many sports bars, the food at Goldie’s is amazing! The menu is much larger than most sports bars too. They have burgers, sandwiches, pizza, pasta, meatloaf, and more.
The kids’ menu includes spaghetti, quesadillas, corn dogs, hot dog, and chicken. See the entire menu here.
We went to Goldie’s because my husband and son wanted to watch the MLB all star game. But our favorite thing about Goldie’s turned out to be the focaccias! They were one of the best things we ate during our entire trip to Phoenix! They were amazing!

Barro’s Pizza
You can’t have a list of the best places to eat with kids in Phoenix without a pizza joint. And we have a great one!
Barro’s Pizza has been family owned for generations. Many years ago, they moved from Chicago to Phoenix. And you can see the Chicago influence not only in the pizza, but also in the decor.
But while this pizza is Chicago-style, the flavor combinations are bold, modern, and out of this world. They also offer sandwiches, wings, pasta, salad, and a variety of bread. Check it out here.
We really loved eating here. It was nice and relaxed and made for the perfect meal on our last night in Phoenix.

Conclusion
It can be challenging when traveling with kids to find delicious restaurants that are also kid-friendly. But this is not a problem in Phoenix. They have tons of great restaurants for families. The restaurants on this list of the best places to eat with kids in Phoenix are the cream of the crop. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
