About Biscuit Love
Biscuit Love is a small, but quaint little breakfast joint that is a family-owned business. They love breakfast and want to give you a memorable experience when you join them for the first meal of the day.
The owners started the restaurant in 2012 as a food truck. Since then, they have slowly grown into a full fledged restaurant chain with 4 locations across middle Tennessee. They also have one location in Birmingham, Alabama.
At Biscuit Love, they put a modern twist on classic breakfast dishes. As their name implies, biscuits are the stars of the show in almost every one of their dishes.
If you love comfort food that is fresh and tastes fantastic, then you have to try Biscuit Love. You will enjoy it immensely. They do traditional food in a new way that is exciting, yet familiar. Their food is made from scratch with local ingredients.
The Food at Biscuit Love
Biscuit Love serves breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Many of the dishes served have biscuits as the base. Several of the others are made with their biscuit dough.
On the menu is a bonut (fried biscuit dough tossed in sugar and topped with a yummy filling) and b-rolls (cinnamon rolls made with biscuit dough).
They also serve biscuits and gravy, a variety of breakfast sandwiches on biscuits, French toast made with biscuit dough, chicken and waffles (made with biscuit dough, of course), and a southern eggs benedict (also made with a biscuit).
Additionally, you can find a selection of dishes that don’t come with a biscuit. These include oatmeal, granola, an omelette, and shrimp and grits.
For the kids, they serve French toast, waffles, an egg plate, and a grilled ham and cheese.
As far as drinks go, they have a selection of coffees, teas, lemonade, sodas, hot cocoa, and juice. They also serve some cocktails. These include a bloody Mary, a mimosa, and more.
The biscuits here are so delicious. You can tell that they are made from scratch with love.
You can see the full menu on their website.
The decor inside of Biscuit Love creates an atmosphere that is bright, airy, and cheery. Yet, there is also a sense of coziness to the place as well. The walls are white, which allows the food to shine.
The tables in the restaurant are fairly close together. This allows for a sense of community. You can easily talk to people sitting at tables near you. This adds to the lively vibe and energy in the restaurant.
Even for people like my family who are all introverts, the atmosphere in here creates such a positive energy that is contagious. It is a great way to start your day.
Hours, Locations, and Prices
As mentioned above, there are 5 total Biscuit Love locations: 2 in Nashville, 2 in Franklin, Tennessee and 1 in Birmingham, Alabama.
