One thing that can make or break your family vacations is the the food! And your trip to Phoenix, Arizona will be a hit if you take your family to breakfast at Snooze AM Eatery! It is the perfect way to start your day of fun in the city! Keep reading to find out why your family will love it.

About Snooze
Snooze AM Eatery is a different kind of restaurant. And this is what makes them so special.
First, the focus at Snooze is doing breakfast well, but with a twist. They really strive to turn traditional breakfast dishes on their heads. They give you your old favorites in a completely new and surprising way.
And at Snooze, you can have your breakfast and your happy hour all in the same dining experience!
Secondly, Snooze is dedicated to making the communities in which they live and the planet better. They give back a portion of their sales to the local communities. They also recycle 90% of their waste. How awesome is that!?!?
This is actually a chain restaurant, even though it doesn’t feel like it. You can find them in 7 states, including Arizona, California, Kansas, Texas, Colorado, Georgia, Missouri, and North Carolina.
There are 8 in Arizona, including 3 in Phoenix! We ate at the North Central Avenue location on our first trip to Phoenix.

The Food
While breakfast is the star of the show, there are also some brunch/lunch items on the menu as well.
For breakfast, you will find pancakes, French toast, waffles, breakfast tacos, breakfast burritos, eggs benedict, omelets, and so much more!
If you have some picky eaters in your family, don’t worry! You will find basic breakfast items on the menu too. But, if you are looking for something a little bit bolder, this is the place for you! For instance, they have strawberry shortcake, sweet potato, and pineapple upside down pancakes! Don’t those sound fun?!?!
Additionally, the most unique thing on the Snooze menu is the pancake flight. Their signature flight comes with one pineapple upside down pancake, one blueberry danish pancake, and one sweet potato pancake. If you’re not into those flavors, you can create your own pancake flight by choosing three of your favorite flavors.
When we ate at Snooze, I had the Funky Monkey French Toast. It starts with banana bread and is finished with caramel sauce, candied pecans, and a bruleed banana! It is the most delicious French toast I have ever eaten! This dish is crazy good!
When it comes to lunch options, there are fewer choices but they are still fresh and inventive. They offer salads, sandwiches, and tacos. You will also discover some vegetarian and vegan dishes as well.
The kids menu features eggs, pancakes, French toast, and quesadillas.
For a look at the entire menu, see their website.

The Drinks
At Snooze, the drinks are almost as important as the food. So, they have a whole menu of liquids, both alcoholic and nonalcoholic, to complement your meal.
For nonalcoholic drinks, there are coffees, teas, sodas, lemonade, and juices. This includes cold-pressed melon and green juice.
If you prefer an alcoholic drink, you have a lot to choose from. Snooze has a whole list of bloody marys, mimosas, cocktails, beer, and wine.

The Atmosphere
One of my favorite things about Snooze is the atmosphere and design of the restaurant. The decor is a modern twist on the classic 1970’s look. Throughout the space, there are retro looking art pieces and lighting fixtures.
The main color is orange. You will also see yellow, green, and brown used as accents in the space.
This is the 70’s look that makes you want to put on some platform shoes and bell bottoms and have a dance party! It is so fun, but yet feels fresh and youthful.

Prices and Hours
Most locations of Snooze, and all of the Phoenix locations, are open seven days per week from 6:30 am until 2:30 pm. Many of them can get really busy, especially on the weekends. So, consider going early so you don’t have to wait.
We got to Snooze on a Sunday morning at about 8:30 and had to wait approximately half an hour to get a table. But, it was totally worth the wait! And remember, long waits usually mean great food.
As far as prices go, Snooze is pretty affordable. All of the entrees will cost you between $9-15. Everything on the kids menu is priced at $6. Alcoholic drinks range from $7-11 per drink, while nonalcoholic ones are all in the $2-6 category.

Conclusion
Snooze A.M. Eatery is a breakfast and brunch restaurant with locations in 7 states. This chain believes in giving you delicious traditional breakfast dishes with a modern day twist. They also believe in doing their part to give back to the community and save the planet.
Not only is the food fun and yummy, but the atmosphere inside the restaurant also has a fun retro feel to it.
I loved eating at Snooze and can’t wait to go back! I think you will love it too!
