Are you taking your family to Disney World soon? Do you have some pint-sized Disney fans on your holiday shopping list? Here are 9 inexpensive Disney gift ideas for kids to help you out. Some of these are things to buy before your trip and some of them are reasonably priced (or free) gifts you can get at Disney World.

Before Your Trip
Glow Sticks
Kids love having glow-in-the-dark toys while in the parks at nighttime. But, these toys are expensive and don’t last long. So, before your trip, buy your kids a stash of glow sticks. Then you can take them with you and give them to your kids once the sun goes down each night of your trip.
You can get glow sticks as cheap as 10 for a $1, which makes them a very inexpensive Disney gift idea for kids. Usually, you can find them at your local Target or Michaels or you can order them from Oriental Trading Company.
Disney Themed T-Shirts
Kids and adults alike love wearing Disney themed t-shirts during their Disney trips. You could wait and buy these shirts once you are in the parks, but they will be expensive there.
To save yourself some money, head to Target. They carry a variety of Disney shirts at a much lower price. You may even be able to find them cheap enough to buy your kids a different shirt for each day of your trip.

Stuffed Animals
If your kids love stuffed animals, then consider getting them a plush version of their favorite character. These stuffed toys make great inexpensive Disney gift ideas for kids. They will be super excited to take their new friend with them to Disney World.
Target usually carries some Disney plush toys. But, you can find a bigger selection at a Disney store or online at shopDisney.com.
Hats
The sun can be brutal in Florida, especially if you are there during the summer. So, to prepare for your upcoming Disney World trip, get your kids a Disney themed hat to wear. Hats are one of the most practical Disney gift ideas for kids you can find.

Sunglasses
Looking for some stocking stuffers for your kids? Sunglasses are another creative and practical inexpensive gift idea for kids. They will definitely use them while on vacation.
For little kids, look for Disney themed sunglasses featuring their favorite characters. For older kids, pick out some cute cheap sunglasses at Target.
Autograph Book & Pen
One of the most fun things for kids to do at Disney World is meet and get autographs from the various characters. But autograph books and pens in the Disney World gift shops are expensive!
For a cheaper alternative, buy your kids an autograph book and pen prior to your trip. You can either get them a journal or small notebook or go on Etsy and find some cute autograph books.
Another option is to buy spiral-bound index cards at your local office supply store and use it for your autograph book. This is what we do. Then, after our trip, I can take the index cards out of the book and put them in my son’s scrapbook.
As far as pens go, the bigger the better for the characters. You can usually find giant Disney themed ball point pens at Michaels and Target.

While at Disney World
Autographs and Photos with Characters
If you bought your kids an autograph book and pen before your trip, be sure to take them to the parks with you so they can get autographs and photos with their favorite characters. This is one of the best Disney gift ideas for kids because it is free!
If you are going to Disney without your kids, get some photos and autographs for them. Then after you return home, you can frame them and give them to your kids as a personalized gift.

Popcorn Buckets
If you or your kids are popcorn lovers, then this one is for you! While at Disney World, you can buy a refillable popcorn bucket in any of the parks or at Disney Springs. These buckets are plastic, super cute, and come filled with popcorn. You can get them refilled an unlimited number of times at a reduced rate during the length of your trip.
After your trip is over, you can take the bucket home as a souvenir. They are great for storing small toys.
The basic buckets feature Disney characters and will cost you $12. The designs are changed out seasonally. You can also get a premium bucket for $18-25 depending on the design. All of the refills, regardless of which bucket you get, are $2 per refill.
Box of Potato Head Parts
If your kids love playing with potato heads, then you must head to Once Upon a Toy at Disney Springs during your trip. They have a huge selection of potato head parts. Many of them are unique Disney themed pieces, such as a Mickey Mouse shaped balloon, a Mickey ice cream bar, and various character costume pieces.
You can buy a box and fill it up with these pieces. You pay one low price for everything that will fit in the box.
We did this on almost every trip when my son was younger. He got so many unique and fun potato head pieces!
