Classic Characters
Usually when people think of characters at Disney World, they usually think about the classic characters, such as Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, and Donald. And, you can find most of them, along with every other character in Hollywood Studios.
Mickey Mouse
Mickey Mouse has a dedicated meet and greet spot in Hollywood Studios. It is located on Commissary Lane. Here, you can see him in his sorcerer’s robe and hat. He is here all day long. He meets here with Minnie.
Minnie Mouse
Minnie also has a permanent spot in Hollywood Studios on Commissary Lane. She meets here all throughout the day with Mickey. She appears here ready for the red carpet in her evening gown.
Goofy
Goofy can be found on Grand Avenue near the Miss Piggy statue. He is there off and on throughout the day.
Pluto
You can meet Pluto from park opening until about 6:00 pm in the Animation Courtyard in front of the Disney Junior Dance Party building.
Chip and Dale
Love Chip and Dale? You can meet them just inside the entrance gate at Hollywood Studios from park opening until late afternoon. As you enter the park, look to your left near Sid Cahuenga’s One-of-a-Kind Antiques and Curios and you will see them.
Star Wars Characters
Thanks to the addition of Galaxy’s Edge (aka Star Wars Land), you can find quite a few Star Wars characters in Hollywood Studios.
BB-8
Want to get a photo with BB-8? Head over to Star Wars Launch Bay in the Animation Courtyard. He has a spot inside and is out pretty much all day every day.
Chewbacca
Next up on my list of every character in Hollywood Studios is Chewbacca. You can meet him from park opening until park closing in the Star Wars Launch Bay in Animation Courtyard. He also sometimes roams around Galaxy’s Edge.
Darth Vader
If you want to meet Darth Vader, walk over to Star Wars Launch Bay in Animation Courtyard. He meets guests throughout the day from park opening until park closing.
Kylo Ren
Is Kylo Ren your favorite Star Wars character? You can find him in Galaxy’s Edge roaming around. He is out off and on throughout the day. Just remember that because he is a roaming character, you will have to either get lucky and stumble upon him or go looking for him.
Rey
Head over to Galaxy’s Edge and see if you can find Rey. She is roaming around there off and on throughout the day.
R2-D2
If you want to meet R2-D2, you will need luck on your side. He randomly appears, usually during daylight hours. Sometimes you can find him in Galaxy’s Edge and sometimes you can find him in Star Wars Launch Bay.
Stormtroopers
The Stormtroopers come out off and on throughout the day. You can find them in Galaxy’s Edge, Star Wars Launch Bay, or Animation Courtyard.
Please note that the Stormtroopers come out, march around, and bark orders at people. Occasionally they may stop and take a photo with you, but many times, you will need to just snap a photo as they are on the move.
Toy Story Characters
The characters from Toy Story are always popular, especially with kids. Many of the main characters are out and about in Hollywood Studios.
Buzz Lightyear
You can find Buzz Lightyear just inside the entrance to Toy Story Land. He is usually on the left hand side just before you get to the giant Woody entrance sign. He is usually here from park opening until around dark.
Woody
Woody is out during most of the daylight hours in Toy Story Land. You can find him in front of the Midway Mania building. He meets guests with Bo Peep.
Jessie
Jessie is located in Toy Story Land in front of the Alien Swirling Saucers. She is available to meet guests during most of the daylight hours.
Green Army Men
During daylight hours, you can find the Green Army Men roaming around Toy Story Land. They do not have a set location or meeting times. So, you will have to look around to find them.
Bo Peep
If you want to meet Bo Peep, head over to the Midway Mania building in Toy Story Land. She is out in front of this building during most of the daylight hours. She meets here with Woody.
Disney Junior Characters
If you have little ones, meeting the Disney Junior characters will be a top priority for you! Luckily, you can find several of them on my list of every character in Hollywood Studios.
Doc McStuffins
Doc McStuffins is out for meet and greets in the Animation Courtyard in front of the Disney Junior Dance Party building. She is there from park opening until early evening.
Fancy Nancy
If your kids love Fancy Nancy, you can take them to meet her in Animation Courtyard out in front of the Disney Junior Dance Party building. She is there from park opening until about 6:00 pm each day.
Vampirina
Vampirina is out throughout the day until about 6:00 pm. You can find her in front of the Disney Junior Dance Party building in Animation Courtyard.
Other Characters
Olaf
Want a warm hug from everyone’s favorite snowman? Head over to the Celebrity Spotlight in Echo Lake to meet Olaf. He is out all day long.
Edna Mode
Edna Mode, the famous superhero costume designer from The Incredibles, comes out to meet with guests from about 10:00 am until around 6:00 pm each day. You can find her in the Municiberg area, in Pixar Place. This is next to the entrance to Toy Story Land.
Mr. Incredible
Mr. Incredible is also located in Municiberg outside of Toy Story Land. He is out off and on from mid to late morning until mid to late afternoon. He is just roaming around this area interacting with guests. So, if you want a photo, just ask him!
Mrs. Incredible
If you head over to Municiberg, you can also find Mrs. Incredible. Like her husband, she is out roaming around from mid to late morning until mid to late afternoon. She will take a photo with you if you ask her!
Mike Wazowski and Sulley
Looking to meet some monsters? You will find Mike Wazowski and Sulley from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm in the Walt Disney Presents building. This is located between the Animation Courtyard and Toy Story Land.
Hollywood Studios Character Meals
The only character meal in Hollywood Studios is Hollywood and Vine. You can meet characters here at breakfast, lunch, or dinner. However, you will find different characters at breakfast than you do at lunch and dinner. It is a buffet during all meals.
Breakfast
During breakfast, you can play and dine with the Disney Junior characters. You will find Vampirina, Doc McStuffins, Fancy Nancy, and Goofy in his Roadster racer outfit.
Lunch and Dinner
For lunch and dinner, Hollywood and Vine becomes Minnie’s Seasonal Dining. Basically, Minnie Mouse is throwing a dinner party for you and her closest friends.
You can meet Minnie, Mickey, Goofy, Donald Duck, and/or Daisy Duck during these meals. The theme of the dinner party and the characters’ outfits change with the seasons.
