Sometimes you just want a laid-back, no-frills place to wake up with some delicious breakfast food. And when you are in Cincinnati, the best place to get this kind of meal is Hang Over Easy. See why it is one of the Queen City’s best breakfast joints.

The Food at Hang Over Easy
Hang Over Easy is not your grandmother’s breakfast restaurant! The menu here is full of all the guilty pleasure dishes that you love and a bunch of creations that you have never thought of but can’t wait to eat!
This is not the place you want to go if you are counting calories or watching your weight! Instead, Hang Over Easy is where you go when you just want to shamelessly stuff your face and feed your soul.
The menu includes classic goodness like chicken and waffles, omelets, pancakes, and French toast. But they also have some crazy concoctions like a donut sandwich with bacon, sausage, egg, and cheese, and cinnamon roll French toast.
They also have biscuit sandwiches, avocado toast, breakfast tacos, and more. Additionally, they have a kids menu if you have your children with you.
If you go to Hang Over Easy later in the day, you can choose from a variety of sandwiches and burgers. Many of the meals, including the breakfast ones, come with fries.

The Atmosphere of Hang Over Easy
While open and welcoming to any and everybody, Hang Over Easy really caters to college kids. The decor within the restaurant reflects this. There is nothing pretentious or fancy about this restaurant. It is a “what you see is what you get” type of place. And there is something very comforting about this.
The floors are basic concrete and wood. The tables and chairs are also basic. The walls and ceiling are covered with concert posters, album covers, and other pop culture type artwork.
The interior of the restaurant has a very nostalgic vibe to it. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself remembering some of your best college times during your meal here.
Location, Hours, and Prices
There are actually 5 Hang Over Easy locations throughout Ohio: Cincinnati, Athens, Perrysburg, and two in Columbus. The one in Cincinnati is located about a block from the campus of the University of Cincinnati. The actual address is 13. W. Charlton.
There is a pay parking lot right across the street from the restaurant.
Hang Over Easy is open seven days per week. Monday through Fridays they are open from 7 am until 3 pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, they are open from 8 am until 4 pm.
Everything on the menu is priced between $7 and $16 dollars, making it a very affordable place for families to eat breakfast.

Why You Will Love It
Hang Over Easy is a great place for breakfast with the family because it is a straightforward restaurant focusing on breakfast and lunch. While it caters to college students, it is as welcoming to families with small kids as it is to young adults.
It is a wonderful place to go to get some delicious comfort food to help you get going on a slow, lazy morning. If you get here late morning or around lunch time, it is a wonderful option for brunch or even lunch.
