The Food at Maple Street Biscuit Company
The star of the show at the Maple Street Biscuit Company is definitely the food! It is so delicious! This was, by far, my favorite meal during our trip to Chattanooga. And it will be on my must do restaurant list any time we are in town.
The restaurant serves comfort food with a modern twist for breakfast and lunch. Of course, biscuits are the foundation of all their dishes.
Breakfast Menu
The menu features eight breakfast sandwiches that all start with a fresh made biscuit. My favorite is The Farmer, which has fried chicken, bacon, cheddar, and the most delicious apple butter ever! This thing is so massive, you need a fork and knife to eat it! But, it is amazingly yummy!
Another sandwich, the Squawking Goat, was featured on Food Network’s Guilty Pleasures. It has fried chicken, goat cheese, and pepper jelly.
If none of the specialty biscuits are speaking to you, you can choose a basic bacon, egg, and cheese or sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit sandwich, a waffle, or a waffle-iron baked omelet. You can also choose a potato bowl, a grits bowl, or a variety of biscuits and gravy.
They also have smashbrowns as a side dish. These are like hashbrowns, but taste more like stuffing than hashbrowns.
Lunch Menu
For lunch, they have chicken strips with biscuits and chips or salads.
Additional Items
The menu at Maple Street Biscuit Company also has a kids’ menu, a list of specialty coffees, a variety of mimosas, and iced cinnamon or buttermilk biscuits by the dozen or half dozen.

The Decor and Vibe in the Restaurant
The inside of Maple Street Biscuit Company is light, bright, and airy. But it also has a relaxed vibe to it that makes you feel like you are hanging out at your grandma’s house. There is a farm like air to the restaurant.
When you walk in the door, you place your order at the counter. You can then seat yourself. When your food and specialty coffees or mimosas are ready, you will be called to come pick them up. If you order basic coffee, tea, or soft drinks, you can grab them yourself at the drink station.
Adding to the “breakfast at grandma’s” feel, you are asked to bus your own table when you are finished. There are mini troughs scattered around the restaurant to place your dirty dishes in when you are done.
While this sounds like you are doing all the work, it all adds to the laid-back, homey feel of the restaurant. It also helps to keep the prices down.

You will find Maple Street Biscuit Company locations in 10 states, including Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Ohio, Florida, Alabama, Kentucky, North and South Carolina, and Georgia. To see exactly where each restaurant is located, head over to the company website.
While Maple Street Biscuit Company is primarily a breakfast place, they are open for both breakfast and lunch. Most of their locations are open daily from 7:00 am until 2:00 pm. A few locations are open until 3:00 pm.
All of the entrees on the menu range in price from $6-15. The side dishes, meanwhile, range from $2-6. The items on the kids’ menu will cost you a little over $6.
Conclusion
The Maple Street Biscuit Company is the best place for breakfast in Chattanooga, Tennessee. They serve classic comfort food with a modern twist in a laid-back environment. The Farmer breakfast sandwich is one of the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten for breakfast. I highly recommend it!
