Planning a trip to Disneyland and looking for someplace to eat in the parks that serves bold and zesty flavors? If so, look no further than Rancho del Zocale Restaurante in Disneyland Park.
This quick-service dining option serves delicious Mexican food that won’t gobble up a lot of your time or money. Read on to find out why you should eat at Rancho del Zocale.

The Food at Rancho del Zocale
If you enjoy Mexican food, Rancho del Zocale should be high on your list of Disneyland restaurants to try. The dishes here are flavorful, zesty, and filling. This is definitely not your typical bland theme park fare.
The food definitely has a little spicy kick to it, but not so much that it detracts from the taste. I don’t like spicy food at all and I was pleased with the flavors I found here.
And the portions are large, so you will not walk away hungry. This is a huge bonus if you are looking for a place to feed your whole family or you are on a tight budget.

The menu at Rancho del Zocale includes options such as chicken tortilla soup, enchiladas, nachos, burritos, and street tacos. All entrees come with rice and beans.
Children can choose between chicken tacos, bean and cheese burritos, or chicken and rice.

The Decor and Theme
Rancho del Zocale is designed to look like a Mexican courtyard.
While the ordering, payment, and drink stations are all located inside a building, most of the dining tables are all outside in a courtyard.
Everywhere you look is decorated with Mexican tiles and terra cotta. Potted plants and fountains are scattered throughout the seating area.
The outdoor area is designed to give some separation between the tables and the crowded walkways nearby. The result is a dining section that feels quaint and secluded instead of exposed and busy. It all works to make you feel like you are anywhere except in a crowded theme park.

What you can expect to pay at Rancho del Zocale
Prices at Rancho del Zocale are pretty typical for Disneyland quick service restaurants. Meals will cost between $12 and 15, while children’s meals range from $4-8.
Considering the amount of food that you get and how filling it is, I feel that this is a better bang for your buck than a lot of places you could eat inside the parks.
If you have people in your party that don’t eat that much, you can probably get away with sharing a meal here, which will stretch your vacation dollars even further.

Where to find Rancho del Zocale
Rancho del Zocale is located in the Frontierland section of Disneyland Park. It sits on one of the main walkways, so it shouldn’t be too hard for you to find once you have made your way into Frontierland.
You will see the seating area with an archway to the right of it. Go through this archway and down a small hallway to get to the ordering station. There are also a set of bathrooms in this hallway.
Once you enter this archway, you will be away from the crowds, so this is a good place to get out of the sun when you need a quiet place for a break.

Conclusion
If you are looking for a tasty restaurant in Disneyland Park that can fill your family without costing you a lot of time or money, then Rancho del Zocale should be high on your list of must try restaurants.
This Frontierland eatery offers a break from traditional theme park fare by giving you delicious Mexican food that you can eat in a colorful, yet cozy, courtyard.
