When you are at Disney World, you want good food at a great value without a lot of hassle. One place that is always being recommended is Earl of Sandwich in Disney Springs. But many times, when something receives a lot of hype, it turns out to not be as good as advertised. For years, I resisted trying it because of the fear of it not being very good. But, I have to say, after I finally tried the little sandwich shop, I realized that this is one time when it really does live up to the hype. Earl of Sandwich may be the best sandwich place I’ve ever eaten at in my life! This is my review of Earl of Sandwich.
Theme/Decor
Earl of Sandwich isn’t much in the way of theme. It is a simple sandwich shop. The interior decor does have small touches to make it feel like a cozy study, but these don’t stand out in a big way. And because it is always so busy in here, you may easily miss these little decorating elements. But, in all honesty, no one is coming here for the decor. A visit to this restaurant is all about the food.
Location
You will find Earl of Sandwich in the Marketplace section of Disney Springs. It is located near the end across the walkway from Once Upon a Toy. You will know you are there when you see the yellow wavy awning or the long line of people! I find that it is somewhat inconvenient in terms of location because it is at the end. I always feel that I’ve missed it right before I see the awning. However, the food here is so good that it is worth the extra walk. I don’t know that I would make a special trip to Disney Springs just to eat at Earl of Sandwich, but if I’m going to be there anyways, then it is worth it to walk over to grab a sandwich.
Food
The food is the #1 reason to go to Earl of Sandwich. They have a wide selection of both hot and cold sandwiches. They also offer salads, flatbread pizzas, and wraps. You will find quite an array of side items and desserts on the menu too. The side items range from mac-and-cheese to potato chips. You will find everything from cupcakes to ice cream sandwiches on the dessert list. To see the full menu, head to allears.net.
My favorite sandwich is the holiday turkey sandwich. It is an entire Thanksgiving feast on a sandwich. It is absolutely delicious! My son really enjoys the pizza sandwich. We have never had anything bad at Earl of Sandwich. These are the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. I wish we had an Earl of Sandwich close to home so I could eat here more often.
Now, the lines here get very long! But, don’t let that dissuade you from eating here. The line moves much quicker than expected. If you don’t like to wait even a little bit, though, you might want to get here outside of typical dining times. The other problem with the crowds here is that it can be difficult to find a table. It is smart to have some in your party grab a table while others wait in line. If all the tables inside are taken, try the patio.
Entertainment
There is no entertainment to speak of at Earl of Sandwich. However, because it is always so busy, you can have fun people watching. Quite frankly, when we eat here, we are not looking for entertainment. We want to just get in, eat, and get on with our time at Disney Springs. So, I don’t mind the lack of entertainment at Earl of Sandwich.
Disney Dining Plan/Cost
Earl of Sandwich does participate on the Disney Dining Plan. It will cost you one quick service credit per person. It is important to note that, with the dining plan, you will receive along with your sandwich, a drink and either a dessert or a side dish. There is also a price limit (I believe it is $3.99 and under) for the dessert or side dish. If you are paying out of pocket, you can expect to pay less than $15 per adult. This makes Earl of Sandwich very affordable if paying out of pocket. In pure economical terms, this is not the best use of your dining credits. However, sometimes, good food is more important than making the most of your credits!

Earl of Sandwich is a delicious sandwich shop located in the Marketplace section of Disney Springs. It is always busy here due to its popularity and the quality of food. However, the line moves fast.
