Are you planning a trip to Nashville, Tennessee for your family? While the Music City is full of things to do for adults, a lot of them are not great for kids. To help you plan a super fun trip that your entire family will love, here are some awesome things to do with kids in Nashville, Tennessee!

#1: Nashville Zoo
Zoos are always a hit with kids. And the Nashville Zoo is no exception. This is a great activity for families to enjoy together.
The tiger and bear exhibits are really great to see. Your kids will especially enjoy walking through the kangaroo exhibit. Maybe you will get lucky enough to even get to pet one of them! And when your kids get tired of watching the animals, let them take a few spins on some of the rides available in the zoo.

#2: Treetop Adventure Park
Looking for something a little more active for your family to do? Have older kids that aren’t that into zoos? Then the Treetop Adventure Park may be just the thing for you!
This adventure park has 4 ropes courses and a long zipline waiting to push you and your kids out of your comfort zone. They also have a mini ropes course that is perfect for the younger members of the family.
You can easily spend 4 or 5 hours here working your way through each of the courses.
In addition to a wide variety of bridges, tightropes, and other obstacles, there are also quite a few ziplines built into each of the courses to add some extra pep to your experience.
You can buy tickets here.

#3: Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame
If you have sports fans in the family, then one of the best things to do with kids in Nashville is to visit the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame.
This small museum is located inside of the Bridgestone Arena, just a block off of Broadway. It pays tribute to all of the athletes, coaches, teams, sportscasters, and others who have made major contributions to sports in the state of Tennessee.
You will find exhibits here dedicated to Peyton Manning, Pat Sullivan, the Memphis Tigers, Olympic athletes, and so much more!
This museum, while small, has a lot more exhibits than I expected. It is a really well done museum. Anyone who enjoys sports will love this museum!

#4: Hatch Show Print Tour
Are your kids more artistic than sporty? Then you can’t miss the Hatch Show Print Tour! Even if your family isn’t artsy, they will enjoy this tour through one of the oldest print shops in the United States!
Not only do they show you how they make their posters by hand, but they also show you the printing press machines that they have been using for over 100 years! And they allow you to make a souvenir poster to take home with you!
Additionally, there are a ton of their pieces on display that you can admire throughout the tour.
This ended up being one of my most favorite things that we did during our trip to Nashville.

#5: Catch a Game
Nashville is a great sports city. And if your family loves sports, then one of the best things to do with kids in Nashville is to catch a game.
Love football? Head over to the Nissan Stadium to watch the Tennessee Titans play. If you prefer hockey, then catch the Nashville Predators take the ice at the Bridgestone Arena.
During the spring and summer, you can watch the Nashville Sounds, a minor league baseball team, play. And if you prefer to watch college sports instead, then Vanderbilt University has you covered!

#6: Parthenon
One of the most unique things to do with kids in Nashville is to explore the Parthenon. This full size replica of the original building located in Athens, Greece sits in the middle of Centennial Park. Inside of the building, you will find a 42 foot tall golden statue of Athena.
Everything about the Parthenon is an exact copy of the original. And it is a must-see during your trip to Nashville. It is a great hidden gem!

#7: Enjoy Some Live Music
Of course, Nashville isn’t called the Music City for nothing! You will find live country music playing all over the city at all hours of the day and night. So, if your kids are big music lovers, then check out all the live events to find one they will love.
For an iconic experience, attend a show at the Ryman Auditorium or the Grand Ole’ Opry. If you are looking for a more low-key experience, head to any of the many bars, restaurants, and honkytonk joints on Broadway.
It really won’t be hard to find the perfect place to watch some live music with your kids.

#8: Street Art Tour
Nashville has a ton of street art and murals all over the city. Some of the most popular tourists experiences in the city are street art tours. If your kids are budding artists, take a walking tour or grab a bus, truck, or bicycle and check out some of these amazing art displays!
And, of course, no Nashville street art tour would be complete without a stop at the famous angel wings to let your teen snap a picture to post on their favorite social media feed.

#9: Centennial Park
Sometimes when you travel with kids, you need to give them time to run around and burn off some energy. When you are in Nashville, the best place to do that is Centennial Park. It truly is one of the best things to do with kids in Nashville.
Centennial Park is a huge park in the middle of the city. In addition to being the home of the Parthenon, the park has a large duck pond and plenty of space to play.
You can have a perfect afternoon at the park by grabbing some food for a picnic and a ball or frisbee so you can play with your kids after lunch.
#10: Lane Motor Museum
Last on my list of the best things to do with kids in Nashville is the Lane Motor Museum. This is a fun little museum that kids will love.
It is full of unique and exotic cars, old and new. Many of them are custom or prototype cars from Europe that you have probably never seen before. They also have some old bikes, motorcycles, and planes too.
Even if your kids aren’t into cars, they will enjoy seeing all of the one-of-a-kind vehicles on display here. Additionally, if you have little ones, they will enjoy the car themed play area in the museum.
